It's so weird to criticize the Klingon character in Academy when we've had Klingons behave like Ferengi (DS9's House of Quark), Romulans (Duras family), and even Klingons involved in genetic manipulation (ENT's Affliction/Divergence)... Worf wasn't a rule, he was an exception...

I would honestly like to see the Tholains become a threat on Starfleet Academy. Sure, the Breen became a threat during Disco S5, but we know the Tholains are a primary political power against the Federation post-Disco S5. Maybe the Tholains seek expansion?

While I probably don't care for the (High School) Academy aspect of Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, I'd absolutely defend it. The kids are our best eyes into 32nd century Star Trek. It makes sense.
