DACA was great but it was a pivot from when Obama was emphasizing deportations and border security to get Republicans to bargain on immigration reform, which they never did because they want the issue not a solution to the issue

IDK why right-wingers keep bringing up Obama's record deportations, it just shows that if you wanted to have a conservative immigration policy without partisan militias occupying cities and gunning people down in the streets you could do it and a lot of americans would be fine with it

Bari Weiss isn't going to teach the people at 60 Minutes how to break news, the people at the Evening News how to do better broadcasts, or anyone there how to reach a broad audience. (Free Press does not have a broad audience). Her job is to make CBS more conservative. That's it.
Having lived through this at the Post, these people refuse to say, "I want to make this news outlet more conservative." So we get lots of lip service about new ideas, innovation and reporting. But Bari Weiss runs a website! It breaks very little news, and all of that is anti-left.
