I encourage everyone to look out for their safety and practice good internet hygiene, of course. But some of the scolding posts I've read suggest we can change the awful aftermath of a fateful event by just holding our tongues and being quiet little mice, and that isn't my experience.

idk charlie kirk has been terrorizing people online & on college campuses since I was in college in 2012. i want people to keep themselves safe but literally why would anyone care abt tone-policing rn other than for their *own* personal comfort. fascists are going to be fascists no matter what.
literally only paternalistic posts on my sky timeline right now. kind of jarring. idk i'm a lawyer and you should think about what you're doing and saying but there are people posting a lot about the "current moment in the country" and like yeah we've been here for a while now.

For people that don’t know- Dogers stadium has a long history with the Latino community- both as an oppressor (it was the Latino community that was kicked out for this stadium) and as a supporter (even in Midwest and diff time zone, I knew about Fernando Valenzuela and the dogers!)
