I feel like I can never overstate how terrifying it is to live in a town where LAPD, LASD, as well as racist and violent local cops like the Torrance Police Department, are militarized and unchecked. PLUS ICE.
And I say this as a bourgeois white lady, I KNOW I have it pretty good.

There have been four fruteros (at least!) kidnapped within a block of city hall. ICE agents are banging on the doors of local businesses, demanding to be let in without a warrant. The rest of the city has been raided repeatedly and violently. These fuckers say nothing and do nothing.
