My LGBTQ friends knew I wasn't going to miss the most bigoted decision from this court. In case you missed it, Sam Alito's opinion in the "bigots are afriad of picture books" case is one of the most homophobic screeds ever from the SCOTUS.

With his majority opinion in Mahmoud v. Taylor, Alito gave bigoted parents a big, fat kiss—and changed the nature of public education.

The way it works is that if you actually want to protect the most vulnerable, you protect everyone.

Selectively offering vaccination will increase the chance that those at greatest risk will get sick AND will make people think that vaccination doesn't matter, so fewer will get vaccinated overall.
The FDA will permit Covid vaccines only for adults over 65 and those with certain medical conditions in the fall, according to new regulatory standards.

Philanthropy is never a replacement for public funding because:

"Hopkins leaders say they cannot tap much of the university’s endowment because the funds are designated to specific priorities by donors or must be preserved."

How do you write this article without pointing out that they only want a baby boom for white people? Like can you imagine how the White House narrative would shift if the birth rate among Black people suddenly skyrocketed?

This Jew right here ✋ knows that the homegrown far-right, Christian Zionists, etc are the sources of antisemitism in America, not immigrants.

I'm certain Kristi Noem wouldn't have let my great-grandparents into this country. The Trump administration can take their concern trolling and SHOVE IT.
Treating antisemitism as an imported problem does not fight antisemitism.

Using politically malleable language like "terrorist sympathizer" to go after immigrants does not fight antisemitism.

Doing this while elevating antisemitism, as this administration is doing, does not fight antisemitism.

Reminder that Cassidy voted to repeal Obamacare (which actually helps people get care) & supports Medicare Advantage plans (which do nothing other than cost tens of BILLIONS $$ more for the same services provided by traditional Medicare, by installing for-profit insurance companies as middlemen).
Oops... He accidentally said what he meant.
