They want to wipe out almost a third of the country. It’s got nothing to do with illegal immigration.

It’s white nationalism pure and simple. They’re fascists, and there’s no reason to doubt it.

An absolutely wonderful, versatile, powerful and powerfully funny actor who enlivened everything he was in, and a huge loss. I'm not going to say the word, but we're all thinking it in his honor. RIP Isiah Whitlock. deadline.com/2025/12/isia...

Why are we normalizing this person? It's absolutely disgusting.

What I would give for a nice day.
Monday's Weather Rating: 2/10

A very dreary start to the week with periods of heavy rain and unusually warm temperatures near 50° F this morning. A cold front sweeps through later and brings in colder temperatures and very gusty winds. The vibes are a mess!!

The level of misinformation everywhere is catastrophic. The best we can do is correct the record like @mekka.mekka-tech.com accurately does here, and make sure it spreads more than the said misinformation.
1. Silicon Valley Bank didn't get bailed out. It failed, and was acquired.

2. FDIC didn't do any special favors for SVB bankers, and didn't do it for silicon valley crypto bros. They did it to keep the promise that leads to stability: " When you put money in a US Bank, your deposits are safe."
Most underrated Biden admin mistake was bailing out Silicon Valley Bank.

SVB bet big on low interest rates and lost. Rich tech VCs who put too many eggs in that basket generated a bank run, then called for govt money.

Got their bailout, helped elect Trump, and now reaping rewards from corruption.

America was always headed towards fascism if you consider the one-party rule theory of the last decade and a half. The idea of a citizen wiping their hands of involvement with "bothsidesism" and blaming Democrats for their problem, no matter the administration, was just the start.

I delve down into an interesting @businessinsider.com article about a CEO who took time to call all 600 of his employees. It's an extreme case, but teaches a great lesson about corporate feedback strategies.

Something something loneliness epidemic.
Something I find really frustrating about extremely popular media people “just asking questions” or whatever is that sometimes they’re helping speak things into existence. Not this specific scenario necessarily, but it really does lay the groundwork for bad outcomes by normalizing it.
Joe Rogan and Shane Gillis on Nick Fuentes running for president one day.

Rogan: “He could probably win in a few years. Listen, he couldn’t have existed before, right? Ten, twenty years ago, couldn’t have existed. Now, super popular. What’s twenty years from now look like?”
