If the Fourteenth Amendment isn’t real then Section 3 isn’t real either and the justices are suddenly just people in funny clothes.
The Supreme Court Friday agreed to decide whether President Donald Trump can unilaterally limit the constitutional right to citizenship granted to virtually every person born in the United States. www.democracydocket.com/news-alerts/...

WHO MADE THE SITUATION VOLATILE AND UNPREDICTABLE, GREG??? WHO??!?
It’s clear from the video this woman had just come to the park to play with her child. She said as much and was upset that there were masked men with guns in the park.

Border Patrol chief Greg Bovino calls the woman an “activist” and Andy Ngo says the woman was using her child as a “human shield.”

Banana Republic North Korea “Dear Leader” bullshit right here in the USA.
Donald Trump just removed Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Juneteenth from the list of free entry days at national parks.

They are being replaced with Trump’s birthday.

Kansas City residents are paying out the equivalent of $50 each for Kansas City Police settlements just for comparisons.
The USPS posting a NINE BILLION DOLLAR LOSS!!! sounds terrible. Certainly worse than if you said "USPS costs thirty dollars per person per year" even though that means the same thing and more accurately describes a government service

If only there had been someone who could have stopped this from happening.

“Can’t we all just get along?”

No.
I used to be saddened by how much people's political beliefs started playing a role in people's personal relationships, friendships, etc. Now, I'm glad because now I know who to avoid --- I've learned which friends, co-workers, associates, public figures, etc. are bigoted, misogynistic haters.

He’s right. I *hate* it but those are the (rigged) rules of the game, and we can either play by the “fair” rules and lose democracy or we can play the game sitting in front of us and then fix the rules to be fair again after we regain power from the cheaters.

It’s not cheating now. The refs say so.
Now that SCOTUS has validated gerrymandering for any racist arbitrary reason imaginable—EVERY Blue state Governor needs to redistrict their state to completely eliminate red seats.

This is the MAGA precedent. It is law now. Run with it. Beat MAGAs at their own game. Vote MAGAs out permanently.

The 6 far right extremists on the illegitimate Supreme Court have officially allowed fascist republicans in Texas to use their newly redrawn corrupt racist gerrymandered map in 2026.

These white supremacists won’t stop until US democracy is totally destroyed. Disgusting.

The very fact that they can declare something so cognitively dissonant and not go on to be laughed out of the conversation gives them a sense of power.
Last year, Republicans said Joe Biden was sleepy and inept, totally disengaged as president.
Now, 11 months after Biden left office, Republicans depict him as a hugely influential figure, casting such a shadow over current events that he's to blame for every bad thing that happens.

You can understand almost all of American politics with just two numbers:

71% of Republican voters opposed Medicaid cuts.

100% of House Republicans cut Medicaid to pay for billionaire tax cuts.

The hypocrisy is BREATHTAKING. Literally, my breath has been taken away.
JUST IN: Mike Johnson plans to swear in Rep.-elect Matt Van Epps on Thursday — less than two days after he won the TN-07 special election.

As a reminder, it took Johnson 50 days to swear in Democratic Rep. Adelita Grijalva.

First, United States Senator Eric Schmitt: it's "policies," not "policy's." This is literally fifth-grade-level stuff.

Second, United States Senator Eric Schmitt: your job is NOT to get on Fox News as many times as you can.

Remember folks, if you’re cold, they’re cold!

Most refrigerators decide how much cold to make based on the *fridge* compartment. If it’s 40° in the garage, the compressor will never come on and the freezer compartment will slowly rise above freezing.

I’m really surprised they’ve never outlawed the “intentionally throw the ball at your opponent on the out-of-bounds line to make it his violation” move. Just seems 1) needlessly violent, 2) less-than-fair, and 3) bad form.

“Oh, you *can’t* drive? Well then, I guess you don’t deserve to *go* anywhere, loser.”
Missouri and Federal Government to people living in rural areas: "Get a car losers"

Rural areas are inherently car dependent & those who lack access to a car really struggle. Getting to/from work, groceries, medical, school etc is a real struggle.

Imagine paying for Netflix every month, and then paying when you watch the movie, and then getting another bill 3 months later because one of the actors isn't signed with Netflix so you have to pay him directly.

That'd be STUPID right??

This is a post about health insurance.

{Making small-talk with the elderly cashier at the hardware store}

Me: My wife and I moved to Florida for a year, but decided we didn’t like it.

She: Oh, why? Was it all the crime?

Me, to self: Oh, so you watch a lot of Fox News, got it.

If you’ve ever had an MRI, then you know how preposterously improbable it is to get an MRI and not know what it’s for. Therefore either:

1) He’s lying, or
2) He’s deeply, moronically incurious.

Ask yourself which one is worse.
