I'm messing with a guy on Tiktok. He's very passionate talking about how the novel Vampyre isn't gay. All I'm saying is that the original Lord byron, who the story is based on, was bisexual. Each reply I'm basically just rewording that point. He's getting mad.

I think the reason I'm not all that shocked by what's coming out in the files is because I just assume the leaders of every country are about that evil XD

I work at a martial arts gym and the number one question I get from teenage boys is "can I fight somone" they always chicken out when the answer is yes. I enjoy the reaction

In terms of anime and manga, France has MUCH better taste than America and is a more mature market. We like 1% of what Japan produces. They like 60%. And the 1% we like is what's made for children.
The number of releases in French that would never be financially viable in the US makes me weep.

In terms of anime and manga, France has MUCH better taste than America and is a more mature market. We like 1% of what Japan produces. They like 60%. And the 1% we like is what's made for children.

I've gotten to the point where if I consider something awful, I just assume it's not for me and move on. It makes interacting with media easier. But also when you understand something isn't for you sometimes it becomes easier to apretiate what it is doing.

I've gotten to the point where if I consider something awful, I just assume it's not for me and move on. It makes interacting with media easier. But also when you understand something isn't for you sometimes it becomes easier to apretiate what it is doing.

Yeah, I used to watch that 'Manga Writer' guy, but his takes got progressively worse over time, same as several other YouTubers I formerly watched. I'm just exhausted by how inflammatory video essays have gotten nowadays.

The tiktok changes are definitely bad but less of an issue for me because I've always seen tiktok as a vessel for promotion. If you want the good shit you've gotta go on our YouTube.

No one needs a strong border anywhere and any anxiety about immigrants - any concession to being anxious about immigration - is a victory for the most evil motherfuckers on the planet. The whole thing is wholly and entirely needless. It's a real tragedy.
Immigration is a fake problem. We have politicians on the one hand who want to use immigrants as scapegoats for our real ones and politicians on the other who are too cowardly to stand against them and tell the truth. That is the entire situation. Until that changes, people will continue to die.
