omg this is amazing
We bought a Lego video game for the kids for Christmas. We heard this intermittent shrieking and came flying in from the kitchen, and one of the levels was little Lego weeping angels, and every time the lights came on in the room, they would have moved, and the girls would scream.

This thread and the replies are devastating. I write lots of documentation, and hitting all the learning styles— text, bullets, examples, tutorials— takes time, but it's so necessary given the audience mix.
One hard part of the literacy problem in the United States is there are a lot of people -- some of them with college degrees and beyond -- who don't realize that they are bad at reading

For years (and YEARS) I've been saying do not trust VAERS reports. There is no vetting, no statistical relevancy. It's pure anecdote.
Pretty much ANY statistic you see cited to frighten you about vaccines comes from the VAERS database. (Including the recent evidence-free missive from Vinay Prasad). Here's why VAERS can NEVER be a proper source for population-level vaccine risk estimates.
