Seeing @courtneymilan.com post about enjoying her run today and thinking of people who might be trying to get into running as a goal for this new year, I have some thoughts on running and slowing the fuck down! 🧵:
If you are watching the NYC marathon today and are inspired to start running, please allow me to suggest run/walking. You don’t have to suffer! Run 8 minutes, walk 2. Run 90 secs, walk 30s. I run a minute, walk a minute. Be kind to your body. Enjoy being outside. Set yourself up for success.
