If you hate the Trump Administration and condemn what he is doing in the USA, just remember that his protege in our Country is Nigel Farage. He must never get the chance to do to the UK what Trump has done to America.

The Prime Minister should be calling in the US Ambassador and telling him to his face what our country thinks of Trump’s traitorous remarks and demanding a full apology.

🚨 NEW: The Lib Dems have called on Keir Starmer to summon the US Ambassador after Donald Trump “denigrated” British troops

Donald Trump’s remarks about British/ NATO troops in Afghanistan are not, as described by Stephen Kinnock, “deeply disappointing”, they are downright disgusting, offensive and completely unacceptable. This man is beyond the pale. Our Govt, like Canadian PM Mr Carney, should say so loudly & clearly.

The speech of the Canadian Prime Minister, Mark Carney, at Davos is well worth watching. An example of how to respond to the US President. Sir Keir Starmer, take note, Mr Carney has a lot to lose from Trump, but instead of appeasement, he quietly and succinctly showed the better way forward

MPs warn that UK agreements with Donald Trump are ‘built on sand’.

UK bullied to pay billions more for NHS drugs produced by US companies, importing US beef, accept steel tariffs and more, without any reciprocity.

Can't trust Trump. US wants dominance, not partnership.

Rejoin the EU.

I hope that no comedian goes on any Infinite Monkey Cage programme without Robin Ince and that Prof Brian Cox also decides he cannot continue. How the hell do we get these BBC Executives to resign instead and get ‘Our’ BBC back.

@mrjamesob.bsky.social I noticed my WhatsApps to LBC get delivered but are not read? Have you been listening to the Reith Lectures, fascinating stuff, could make a phone in? Great show as always.

So tell me again how Nigel Farage, who just took the largest ever political donation, from a Tory mega-donor, and another donation from the Viscountess wife of the non-dom owner of the Daily Mail, is planning to "take on the establishment"

What on earth are Labour thinking? Have the billionaires got them in their pocket?
I wish I was surprised. Buried in this Budget is a plan to slash the Digital Services Tax, giving a multi-billion tax cut to US tech giants and the likes of Elon Musk.

That's right, cutting taxes for the world's richest man while hiking them for millions of hard-working Brits.

30%+ of the customer bill covers interest payments.

Any private owner would want profit, dividends, sewage dumping will continue, customers will be fleeced.

Must end the profit motive. Nationalise water industry.

The only purpose is cruelty, and that is not the basis for any government policy. Time for Labour MPs to stand up and speak out or leave. No economy was ever grown on the basis of hate. Disappointed that Parliamentary time will be wasted on this nonsense.

History will look back at this time as The Misinformation Period, where a small number of people in positions of Power were able to spout lies for their own benefit and get away with it. The opposite of The Enlightenment.

Ed Davey is both likeable and a politician of substance. Unlike the actual Leader of the Opposition.

And it isn't even paid out in the UK, no it's paid out in Luxembourg so ZERO tax and ZERO spending in the UK.
