Koi Kaze being on this list at all is gonna rightfully irk anyone familiar with it. However, of any anime to broach its topic, it's maybe the only one that should've been made as it shows that everyone involved is broken & making awful decisions. It's the anti-Oreimo before that'd been written. /1

I’ve been thinking that there seems to be a lack of interest in license rescues from the aughts. Discotek keeps licensing 80s and 90s stuff, but I feel there are a bunch of 00s near-hits — stuff like RaXephon, Gankutsuou, Witch Hunter Robin, Kaleido Star, etc. — that’s just lost.
