Thank you for this.
Was planning to panic tomorrow morning, but I'm gonna just ease into the panic slowly now while my meds are still working enough for me to make a list.

In court filings, migrants have said in sworn statements that they’ve been put in the WRAP for “unruly” behavior like asking to speak to their attorney.

Love this! It’s always been my favorite, though I’m not religious.

This is by far my favorite one, though it seems to have disappeared from most places because rights expired or something. youtu.be/MZWI1GuJwCU

I had zero expectations and @mariabustillos.com took us there and it was absolutely one of the highlights of our trip.

That is one of the coolest rooms I’ve ever been in. and downstairs the hush in darkness to peer at the pages of a precious book open in a pool of light.

clobbered by a ladder swung by an untrained carpenter or electrocuted by a dodgy electrician they have no contractual leverage against, they're SOL. Or dead.

Absolutely bananacakes.

When I've looked at positions for construction project managers, they've largely been freelance positions. PMs choose neither the clients nor the subcontractors and if they're not an employee of the GC, are not party to the contracts they're trying to wrangle. And no worker's comp so if they get

And they're very pretty!
Great job.

And the thimble can go on whatever finger you naturally push needle through with. There's no correct way. Do what feels right.

Don't underestimate the finger saving power of a thimble! If you find it rough going, swap out your needle for a sharper one or stab it through the little strawberry part of a tomato pincushion or some fine steel wool. But be careful with that since you're working on white & you might remove coating

That's a very reasonable path. I used to get all manner of ick on my coat when I was bartending so this route was less feasible and I learned many decontamination tricks.

Ewww. Thoughts and prayers. You can add vinegar to the softener compartment in a washing machine and it helps deodorize and remove any lingering soap and… residue.

Also, putting clothes on radiators can help destinkify. But *after*’you wash.

Flatbush has language free whistle cards that don’t need translation for diverse neighborhoods where canvassers might not have common language with neighbors!

I grew up in a college town in california, & the influx of international students ameliorated the spice problem. Racist student visa policies, science defunding & ICE raids are going to tank all that progress. Gutted research labs = no-one to keep the gas station w/ spicy tray chicken stall alive.

Upper Manhattan) (please forgive me, I'm primarily a Brooklyner and rarely go north in city currently.

If you've got manhattan or other borough folks who can print, we can probably connect you. The whistle parties and canvassing are super fun and make all of this feel so much less bleak.
