The swastika is the ultimate symbol of hatred and serves as a call for the annihilation of the Jewish people.

The noose is a dark reminder of the horrors of slavery and Jim Crow lynchings in America.

Neither symbol is has any place in our society, especially our armed services.

There will be another 60 vote Friday* on the garbage shutdown deal. If we can convince just one Senator from the 52 republicans and 8 Dems that voted yes to flip, we could still stop this. Please jump on the phone today, call them, and share this widely.

There sure are a lot of cops in this country. And a lot of federal agents.

There are still way, way more other people though.

I haven't seen a single one of my Christian, Trump-voting friends or family members say a God Damned Word about ANY of this. Not one word. Oh but they love everybody. No exceptions. And they get pissed if you suggest they are racist.

Well, there it is. Sinclair is digging in for a fight, so please help push back -- find stations in your area, watch their local news to see what ads they run, then write those advertisers to tell them you're boycotting as long as they're on a Sinclair station.

What’s more astonishing: 1) that the president clearly believes, and repeatedly suggests, that asylum seekers are people from mental asylums, or 2) that no journalist has ever challenged him on this and no mainstream media outlets have done any deep dives on this story?

This has been coming from the beginning. All major democracy-supporting NGOs and foundations have their legal complaints already drafted. And in time, perhaps not even much time, they will win their cases. What is needed most in the meantime is courage. Keep saying what you think, doing what you do.

Our press and other news media have already failed us into fascism.
Honestly people who believed the initial @wsj.com lies about the bullets just failed a basic media literacy test.
The WSJ is just printing white wing press releases and if you don’t know that by now I don’t know what to tell you.

I truly appreciate this from @mayor.lacity.gov. Now if the Mayor could please effectively direct the LAPD to protect us, instead of firing non-lethal rounds at our heads, gassing us, and beating us with truncheons when we peacefully protest, that would be great.
Justice Sotomayor said it best in her dissent:

“We should not have to live in a country where the Government can seize anyone who looks Latino, speaks Spanish, & appears to work a low wage job.”

We will not be divided. We will not stop fighting to protect our communities.

We need to name and shame every House Democrat who voted to continue providing weapons to the murderous regime in Israel.

This should be an easy boycott.
You wouldn’t vacation in Dachau in 1935. Don’t vacation in Florida in 2025.
We’re calling for a Florida boycott over the inhumane “Alligator Alcatraz” detention site. Cancel your family vacation and choose a different destination this summer.

Yesterday after lunch, I walked to the federal building in downtown Los Angeles that has been at the center of the protests. I took this video.

The only National Guard I saw were those few in front of the entrance. No Marine presence. Minimal LAPD. Quiet streets.
