Thanks to City investments in stormwater capture infrastructure, L.A. has added nearly 5.5 billion gallons of water after recent storms.

This is part of a long-term push to boost local water supply, reduce runoff into the ocean, and make Los Angeles more climate-resilient.

On November 21, 2025, the first single-family property received its Certificate of Occupancy from the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety (LADBS) after properties were destroyed in the Palisades Fire.

On Transgender Day of Remembrance, we honor the lives of our transgender community members who have been taken from us. Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) is an annual observance that uplifts the memory of transgender people whose lives were lost as a result of anti-transgender violence.

An Evacuation Order has been issued for select vulnerable properties within burn scar areas beginning at 8:00 PM tonight through 8:00 AM Sunday.

LAPD is contacting residents at those impacted properties.

All Angelenos are encouraged to stay safe on the roads during this period of wet weather.
