If Trump vetoes (which would be his first this term I believe) the Epstein Files it will actually ruin him. His support will easily be -30 plus.
WATCH: Speaker Johnson says he’s “deeply disappointed” the senate passed a bill he voted for 🤔

@rokhanna.bsky.social : “Johnson looks frazzled. He’s lost it, attacking a bill the survivors wanted without talking to them… that he voted for. He has lost the confidence of half his caucus.”

Deport all Ben Shapiros.
Ben Shapiro: “When the president said deport all the illegal immigrants, I never thought that he meant that literally”

It's very pragmatic even for people who don't really care about this stuff to make sure the frontline in the fight of rights is as far away from you as possible. Directly, I don't really have a horse in this race. Indirectly, if harmless porn is okay then I know my free speech will be protected too.
Lots of folks gotta start getting way more comfy defending pornography and adult content with their whole chests, because this trend will not end well for anyone.
My new Buy Me a Coffee account was suspended before my first payout was received, the site stating it is “required to deactivate accounts that contain or use adult content to generate revenue through Buy Me a Coffee”

Adult content was never referenced on my page nor used as a motivator to tip

It's so wild to me that about the entire infrastructure of the internet has it out for this one lady. There's literally multiple social media platforms out there that were made for the express purpose of proselytizing people into Nazism, and they've not been ostracized.
The full count as of today:

YouTube suspended
Twitch banned 3x
Patreon suspended (temporary)
Patreon 3x audio flags (one false posi)
Ko-fi suspended (indefinite?)
Buy Me a Coffee suspended
Vice reporting censored
Pornhub censored 3x times
Fansly censored 1x
Is it really a conspiracy to say Ana is being explicitly flagged by finance bros when she's now been banned (or censored) from Twitch, Patreon, Buy Me A Coffee, Ko-Fi, and *PornHub*??

I think the normal economics for a console don't necessarily apply to Valve. They may not look at things like the SD or SM as a money maker in the same vein as like a PS or Xbox since they don't have shareholders to answer to. If they want the SM to push SteamOS/Linux even more, they can do that.

The nature of the debt is particularly concerning. They're using GPUs as collateral, so if one loan goes under, they lose the only thing that can make them money. Probably not all at once but I imagine it would snowball from the first default. Nvidia's support is non negotiable at this point.
Despite being a company selling compute during the AI boom, CoreWeave is drowning in debt and it won’t stop borrowing. As of the end of September, CoreWeave was $14 billion in the hole — $3 billion more than last quarter.
Meet CoreWeave, the AI industry’s ticking time bomb
The debt-laden AI compute company has been boosted by Nvidia.

It is extremely obvious that generative AI scaled way too hard way too fast. If you wouldn't pay thousands of dollars a month for ChatGPT, then I don't see how we don't see a significant correction.
Some great charts on #AI from the Wall Street Journal. t.ly/xvvbw "AI products would have to create an additional $650 billion a year, indefinitely, to give investors a reasonable 10% annual return. That’s more than 150% of Apple’s yearly revenue"

So earlier this week the concept of three cuing did the rounds on here.

It made me think, isn't that kind of how LLMs operate? At least on some level anyways, since LLMs can't comprehend individual letters, and instead look moreso at whole words. Something to consider.

Gonna preemptively say that Democrats should just capitulate immediately when the January shutdown happens. They're gonna do it at some point anyways, might as well spare federal workers and the poor additional unnecessary misery.

It'd be nice to see a no storage config, as a person with way too many SSDs.
Over/unders for Steam hardware pricing:

Steam Machine 512GB: $700 (with controller), $650 (no controller)

Steam Frame: $600 (256GB), $750 (1TB)

Steam Controller (a la carte): $70

What say you all?

Maybe down the line I can replace my Steam Brick (a Deck motherboard in a printed chassis) with the Steam Machine. The Brick really isn't that good for gaming except via Moonlight and it's pretty jank... Just depends on how expensive the Steam Machine is.

I want this very badly but I literally just assembled a Bazzite PC with a brand new 9060 XT 8GB. Kills me that I probably won't be getting this any time soon.

Nvidia down 2% at opening, bad but definitely not a bubble popping experience. Not exactly unexpected, I think there's been alot of events hyped as the one to pop the bubble but obviously none of them panned out.

My jaw literally dropped when I read this. Absolutely shocking.
Japanese giant SoftBank said Tuesday it has sold its entire stake in tech giant Nvidia for $5.83 billion.

Imagine Rand Paul doing the job of Democrats. I used to support the guy back in my very weird era. Interesting man.
Senator @RandPaul says he’s holding up the spending bill over an attack on the Help industry.

Between this and the @MarshaBlackburn @SenatorHagerty money grab over Jack Smith’s investigation — what else did they slip in? thehill.com/homenews/sen...

As bad as the ACA is without subsidies, at least it nominally offers healthcare! What the hell would I do with a thousand dollars a month? Where would I get health insurance? This guy is a fucking moron.
Translation: he has no idea how insurance works
November 10, 2025 at 11:30 PM
The worst part about Democrats capitulating is that in January, we're doing this all over again because the deal is for two months of funding. More people will have to starve for Schumer and his toadies to do nothing yet again.

I wish they'd skip to the part where they resign in disgrace.
November 10, 2025 at 3:28 PM
Obamacare might as well not exist at this point. Sure, you can get health insurance, but what's the point when it's about the same as rent? Obamacare has been abolished.
November 10, 2025 at 4:32 AM
Imagine starving people for 9 days just to get the Senate to vote on something you know will be struck down anyways. Democratic Senators should have caved 10 days ago. What a fucking waste of time and human suffering. I have family who needs SNAP and they couldn't get it, for this?

Was trying to solve a bad reception issue with my HTPC yesterday.

Replaced the WiFi card. No improvement.

Replaced the antennae. Nope, still bad.

Replaced the wires and antennae receptacles. Nada.

Then I tested it while my detachable magnetic antenna was placed a little bit away.

That fixed it.

I believe generative AI could be profitable in this sort of business model, but OpenAI is just doing it way too early. The input costs don't make sense for the output. Give it 10 years and new processors could be able to do the work of 10 GPUs in the same power profile.
OpenAI CFO Sarah Friar claims that OpenAI could have "healthy gross margins" if it "wasn't seeking to invest so aggressively." I believe the truth is that OpenAI's on path to getting more out of their models is more inference - which will make margins *worse.*

This is, unsurprisingly, nonsensical. Is he suggesting eliminating health insurance and giving people a few thousand dollars instead? And then when they get a cancer diagnosis they just go bankrupt?

He is so unserious. That's why we are shut down and Americans know it.

Trump’s economy suuuuucks.
🚨 CNBC: "Announced corporate job cuts surging past 1 million so far this year, with 153,000 new layoffs just in October according to Challenger. That is the worst October since 2003."
