Don’t go into politics in 2026 if you’ve got thin skin. This isn’t a hobby, it’s a frontline fight against fascists and freaks. No one has time to babysit fragile egos. If you can’t handle the heat, move. We need people who can take hits and keep swinging.

If I’m understanding this correctly, X is owned by a white nationalist who pays poor people of color in developing countries to pretend to be working class white Americans to scare other white Americans into being afraid poor people of color from developing countries are going to ruin America?

I generally try not to comment on Twitter but Isaac Chotiner is over there giving Semafor body blows right now and I just want to say I find it alarming that he's allowed to come for you without warning (asking for an interview)

someone today said "spirituality itself is an alt-right pipeline," and omfg, i disagree so much.

atheism cannot be the only way to be a leftist. that both ignores long histories of churches, meeting halls & ceremonies as resistance. and it alienates so many amazing people.

no. no. absolutely not.

It is worth saying a few things in support of atheists. They show up to vote in astonishingly high numbers and they vote overwhelmingly Democratic. Atheists are also a vital part of the activist community.

Atheists and Black women are key parts of every Democratic victory. The heart of the Party.

The United Church of Canada has fought for a woman’s right to birth control and abortion since 1923. We believe in science and teach evolution in Sunday School. I think Democratic politicians with strong religious beliefs should campaign on those beliefs.

The President is lying—again.

Our servicemembers take an oath to the Constitution and have an obligation to follow only lawful orders.

Trump thinks that standing by our troops to uphold the law should be punishable by death. That should be chilling to every American.

As the sister of an autistic woman, I would much rather raise an autistic child than lose a child to measles, polio, or any other deadly disease. Luckily, I don't have to choose, because VACCINES ARE SAFE AND EFFECTIVE.

I trust doctors with my life. I wouldn't trust RFK Jr. to borrow my pencil.

I got vaccinated yesterday. Today I had chills, body aches, and dizziness.

But it's miles better than ACTUALLY being sick for days or weeks and potentially getting others sick as well.

As an asthmatic, I have never once missed a flu shot, and I never plan to.
