I mean, I realize this guy and the entire administration are bullshit, but the very idea that the Supreme Court should "traditionally" defer to the president, rather than checking and balancing the office, is shocking, frankly. (Yes, I know there is so much to be shocked by these days.)

3. This one's a doozy.

The world already has about 71 GW of data center capacity.

That's more electricity than the entire UK uses every moment of every day, on average.

By the end of 2027 it's projected to increase *by half*

My latest on the AI bubble in finance: 6 charts that tell the story in ways that are hard to put into words.

1. U.S. data-center build-out. Notice the explosion in 2025. That's the permitting gold rush happening now. Would be shocking if 1 in 20 of these get built, but they factor into projections.

In 2005, Summers said women aren't as mentally equipped to be scientists as men (link below). Harvard didn't fire his ass then.

Now in this 2017 email, he's making an insufferable, faux-clever "joke" about women's supposedly inferior IQ.

He's been garbage for decades.

The emails have Summers reporting to Epstein about his attempts to date a Harvard economics student & to hit on her during a seminar she was giving.

also I think it’s good actually that Bluesky isn’t really treating celebrities or high profile people differently from anyone else with regards to moderation, even if you don’t agree with those decisions

Heritage got big mad a few years ago about how descendants of people enslaved at Montpelier have a say in how the history of slavery is discussed there.
The “Woke” Takeover of James Madison’s Montpelier
Montpelier, the home of James Madison, has been taken over by the radical left. In the past few months, a battle had been waging between the Montpelier Descendent Committee and the Montpelier Foundati...
