Always consider the counterfactual. Can you name a more openly corrupt president in American history? If not, then the statement is true.
I wish I didn’t have to share this. But the BBC has decided to censor my first Reith Lecture.

They deleted the line in which I describe Donald Trump as “the most openly corrupt president in American history.” /1

As Germans head for the polls today, the stakes could not be higher for Germany‘s future and Europe.

My in-depth analysis on Merz‘ huge mistakes, but also some hope that the centre will get its act together in light of what happened since Munich.
The far right rising
Ahead of a historic German election, the AfD is courting the global right – and threatening to upend European politics.

Absolutely this. So many of the city centre bike stands have those up-and-down front wheel holders which are often broken, and just get in the way as well as looking tatty. Simple Sheffield stands, securely grounded, do a much better job.
I think it's time #Cambridge we talk about the over-engineered & exclusionary bike racks in the city centre.

They're ugly, often broken & really difficult for a lot of bikes outside a small number of designs.

Sheffield stands are simple & just better.

Keep it simple!
