I’ve been slow to ease back into anime, mainly because I’ve been fixated on other stuff lately (and some anime/discourse is genuinely stressful).
Though I plan to watch Frieren when the new season drops. It was one of my motivators while job hunting, and it’s got the perfect vibes I need right now.

Another possibility that the Ahsoka series really opened up was the possible existence of galaxies and societies beyond the main Star Wars galaxy.
In the absence of a structured Empire or Republic, a new military or consortium from another galaxy could pose as a challenge.

I really should revisit JJK bc I’ve heard murmurs of this Modulo “sequel”. Not to mention the Season 3 dub and the epilogue chapters.
I’ve just felt burned by the fan powerscaling (that overshadows the story) but also negative discourse (and ppl calling the new manga bleak) that it’s hard to return.

It always worked for me in TROS because, much like how he already worked in the Clone Wars, Palpatine was willing to manipulate various sides of a war and was open to any contingency to win in the end.
But what he thought would be an easy takeover ended with the galaxy uniting to take him down.

Hot take: Palpatine returning with a fleet of planet-killing Star Destroyers makes sense when you remember he’s an EXTREMELY petty man who can’t cope with the fact that he lost at Endor.

So funny thing, I was trying to figure out for a while where that “true ending” was with the recent new additions so I was just constantly going “WHERE WHERE WHERE” like Squidward in the Backrooms.
But I eventually saw that I’d need to re-experience the ending again so…

Soooo I actually decided to try that new feature in Hades II to reset the story. I reached the "Golden Age" epilogue but I was dissatisfied, but I'm itching for more + want the new ending bits so I'm off to see the *REVISED* ending. New Game+ here I come!
