It always worked for me in TROS because, much like how he already worked in the Clone Wars, Palpatine was willing to manipulate various sides of a war and was open to any contingency to win in the end.
But what he thought would be an easy takeover ended with the galaxy uniting to take him down.

Soooo I actually decided to try that new feature in Hades II to reset the story. I reached the "Golden Age" epilogue but I was dissatisfied, but I'm itching for more + want the new ending bits so I'm off to see the *REVISED* ending. New Game+ here I come!

If we should have new major villains for Rey and her crew after Exegol, there’s always the case for new idealists seeking to take the galaxy for themselves in the power vacuum.
Or even rival Force factions. If Tava Ren survives past Exegol, she’d be my top candidate.

So things were actually getting pretty slow last night so we decided to put on Kpop Demon Hunters on the TV.

Def was a truly special show to watch - a truly fresh, heartfelt, and nostalgic adventure. When things were starting to get bad last November due to…current events…Skeleton Crew brought that joy back to my life. Maybe I am due to a rewatch too!

I’ll be equally DOGMATIC & say The Rise of Skywalker is just way overhated. Of course it’s got weak spots, but it’s overhated like it caused a literal war by some of you.
Hell, I’ll be bolder: it’s great, a cathartic finale to the sequel trilogy, & I’m tired of “pretending” it isn’t.

Her journey of self-identity belonging was always compelling and heartfelt throughout the whole sequel trilogy, and she ultimately found new family among the Resistance and the Skywalkers.
It’s a special story I’m still waiting to return to.

If you want my Star Wars rankings, these are all mine (from a tier maker shared by a mutual on Twitter).
I hate numbered Star Wars list because it feels like raising up one media *to* bury the rest.

I felt it started earlier with the Rey movie then recent comics (namely Legacy of Vader & the TROS adaptation) later added to that.
But #TheHuntForBenSolo absolutely has sparked a huge new wave of sequel revival.
And as a fan/defender of ALL THREE films, I’m riding that wave even if I drown in it.

Sooo I actually decided to try using the Arcane inheritance mechanic. I used a spare Ginnungagap to give an Arcane weapon to Kronya (prob should’ve also merged too but as well).
Nothing tactical in mind; I just thought it’d be cool and funny to give her the “heehee the real world is scary” knife.

Picked up the third issue of the Han Solo sequel trilogy comic series; been needing a Star Wars fix so I’ll read it when I get home.
