A report from Deloitte, out today, details rising revenues in women's football. Two London clubs lead the way, topping £20million each, and commercial income is driving growth. But there are caveats and concerns, too.

In-depth look here:

Arsenal top Deloitte rankings for first time as two clubs pass £20m revenue mark
Revenues in women’s football are plainly growing - generating more money from viewership, in person and on the sofa, is now a target

Of important note here: some club wage bills per accounts differ to figures they report for PSR/SCR purposes

Manchester City's wage bill in UEFA reports is routinely higher than that per accounts - £63m higher(!) in 2023-24 - so #MCFC were likely still highest payers in 2024-25
Following new figures released today via Deloitte's Football Money League report, a list of most recent Premier League wage bills:

• Liverpool above £400m for first time
• Villa less than £50m behind Manchester United
• Spurs outside top six for second year running

The arrest of Greta Thunberg for peacefully opposing genocide and supporting those on hunger strike is wrongful and disturbing.

This is yet another shocking example of the UK’s broad terrorism laws being used to target those exercising their right to freedom of expression and assembly rights.

I quizzed the Labour portfolio holder re how much it cost council taxpayers to construct & then demolish the flats overlooking Dean Gardens when Henry Construction went bust (he refused to answer) and why Ealing didn't react quickly like Lib Dem Sutton did when one of their developer partners folded

At Ealing's full council meeting I slammed the Labour administration for their delay implementing a levy on developers (community infrastructure levy) for 15 years, letting the developers off approximately £90m that the council could have used to improve services. @ealinglibdems.bsky.social
