Turns out trying to interview an Olympic gold medal winning triathlete while running 5kilometres with him is something of a challenge

It may well be that Palace have to be more pragmatic as a result of their hectic schedule.

Even Oliver Glasner conceded as much, not that he wants to.

Victory over Burnley was hard earned in a different way to usual. But Palace were resilient and dogged. #CPFC

Crystal Palace and Oliver Glasner have to compromise as schedule takes its toll
The Londoners are fifth but, with their squad stretched by a demanding fixture list, they may have to be pragmatic for the foreseeable

Oliver Glasner is second to last off the pitch as he's serenaded with "Oli Glasner's red and blue army" and applauds the travelling fans for a good while

Great effort from those in the away end on a very cold night and a long way to travel, won't have been cheap either. #CPFC

Full-time: Burnley 0-1 Palace

Really that is a fair result. Palace were far from their best but a brilliant moment from Marc Guehi and then Daniel Munoz has given them three points at Turf Moor.

No major threats to Dean Henderson's goal. #CPFC

Dean Henderson tries to claim a high ball over the top of Armando Broja and flaps at nothing but air. Chris Richards is there to clear the ball off the line and save him. Three minutes remaining of six added on. #CPFC
December 3, 2025 at 9:23 PM
Eddie Nketiah has given away a totally needless free-kick on the edge of the box. Slides in unnecessarily when there was plenty of cover.

The free-kick is straight at the wall and Palace then get it clear. #CPFC

Half-time: Burnley 0-1 Palace

Not a great game at all but Palace lead through a moment of absolute quality from Marc Guehi and Daniel Munoz. #CPFC
December 3, 2025 at 8:19 PM
Goal! Daniel Munoz. A brilliant ball in by Marc Guehi over hte top and Munoz is there running onto it and directs the header really well into the far corner.

Somehow it's Burnley 0-1 Palace #CPFC

Palace being caught a bit with transitions here. Looking a bit nervy in the opening 20 minutes.

Mateta did force a Dubravka save after smooth work from Lerma and Kamada but defensively some concerns #CPFC

Hello from Turf Moor where there is a bitingly cold wind
December 3, 2025 at 6:52 PM
Oliver Glasner very clear on why he is so ambitious & pushes everyone as hard as he can

Reiterates need for progress at Palace but insists it's not his wish or goal that's important but what's good for club.

Seemed to dismiss suggestion it's like Eintracht #CPFC

No real clarity on Ismaila Sarr's injury from Oliver Glasner due to his ankle swelling.

Some ligament damage which might be OK for him to return to play for Palace before AFCON but if he doesn't recover well then he might even miss AFCON entirely #CPFC

Not sure I've seen Oliver Glasner this angry before. He's not exactly withheld but really showing his frustration and irritation today
November 30, 2025 at 1:53 PM
There has been so little intensity in this second half from Palace. After a pretty good but extremely wasteful opening 45 they have just lost it in the second half

Eddie Nketiah really should score but he takes forever to get a shot away and that gives Man United time to recover and make a block

Full-time: Strasbourg 2-1 Palace

A game which Palace should have won but wasted too many excellent chances.

They can play well but they're not clinical enough, brutal enough. Too soft when it matters most at times. #CPFC
