Last Sunday of November and last soccer game of the year. Glad it's early so it doesn't take out the middle of the day

5 years and 3 albums into their career and they are doing multiple encores. Yes they were "hometown" shows, but still remarkable
Atlanta and other R.E.M. family and friends from all over might remember or have heard about the Thanksgiving weekend shows the band played at the Fabulous Fox Theatre in Atlanta in the mid-80s— 40 years ago today (November 29, 1985) was the first of the two shows that year…

South Park is totally going to have Hegseth and Trump bomb Santa right?

Oh my god, they killed Santa!

Well, it's 13:30 on Saturday and all the dishes from Thanksgiving are officially clean.

To be fair, we were out most of yesterday and didn't have a chance to finish.

Every year I tell my wife I'm gonna make broth outta the turkey carcass and every year I don't. Maybe next year?
I always toss the turkey bones into the crockpot overnight to make bone broth. After picking all the little and big bones out, this is how much meat there is. Can go back in soup or to make turkey salad or even to pets. Hate wasting it.

Snap, my wife made one of these this year. 10/10, will highly endorse.

I've heard good things about this show and watched the first episode last week. I can definitely see myself digging into some random company and being perplexed about who they are. It makes me uncomfortable in similar ways to The Rehearsal
Addams Family Value is importantly holiday viewing cause you need your younger relatives used to phrase “Woe to the Republic”

This is for @lynnnothegger.bsky.social who likes to post about German ads improperly using English words. I know what they want to to convey, but I wouldn't use "juicy" or "crunchy" to describe cinnamon rolls

Remember what I said earlier about butter?

People want to know why my gravy is so good. Bitch there’s 3 sticks of butter in there. That’s why.

This just in: it is not advisable to do Connections at 11pm on Thanksgiving when you've hosted a house full of people and have been busy since 6:30am.

Oh well, tomorrow is another day

If you're cooking today, remember that the key is butter - if you think you've used enough, you're probably wrong

Oh yeah, this is the way. We started doing pumpkin pies from scratch (no canned pumpkin) a few years back and it's a big game changer. The smells coming from our kitchen last night...
Scratch-made gluten free pumpkin pie and mixed berry pie. I don't bake much but man I love when I get to.

I've dipped into the world of Reddit. Anyone have success buying concert tickets via Reddit? Is there a way not to get scammed? Is there a sub-Reddit about how not to get scammed buying tickets on Reddit?

Story from my daughter:
We were riding to school this morning and saw an old man riding a kids scooter. He was like 50, or your age.

We watched this a lot in high school in VHS. I had no idea it was a box office flop. If I watch it in my late 40s, will I still think the same as when I was in HS?

I still paraphrase the "kid on the escalator" scene to myself
