I for one think the Epstein Ballroom will be magnificent. I love the decor theme of “what if Uday Hussein ran a Ramada Inn.” And giving it a theme song everyone will associate with it is a stroke of brilliance! “Thank Heaven for Little Girls” is very catchy.

Media loyalty oaths have no place in fact- based journalism so there's only one legitimate choice here for journalists: turn in your pentagon press pass and start covering the Defense
Dept from outside the building.
NEW: The Pentagon told journalists it will require them to pledge they won’t gather any information — even unclassified — that hasn’t been expressly authorized for release, and will revoke the press credentials of those who do not obey. @washingtonpost.com
Pentagon demands journalists pledge to not obtain unauthorized material
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is imposing strict new rules that would severely limit the ability of journalists to report on the Pentagon.

So we’re planning an MMA fight card at the White House on the 250th anniversary of our nation? That means a spectacle at a place sacred to our culture where hitting a man/woman when they’re down is not only against the code and rules of the sport, it’s *encouraged*. Sounds about right for our times.

Don't like the numbers? Just fire the person responsible for gathering them.

Trump's doing what every tyrannical regime has always done: wiping out the truth and replacing it with lies.
BREAKING: Trump says he has told his team to fire the Commissioner of Labor Statistics.

This announcement comes after worse than expected jobs numbers in July, and a downward revision of -258,000 jobs for the May and June jobs reports.

Swan: She’s a child sex trafficker.

Trump: Big deal... I do, I wish her well.

But I guess when you've been found guilty of 34 felonies by one judge and jury and adjudicated a rapist by another judge and jury, it's hard to assess the innocence of others.
