Something upsetting I learned in my travels: an HIV-prevention worker whose org in South Africa went from 86 ppl to 4(!) told me that if I went on Grindr (& he suggested I do not, as it's dangerous), I'd find many of his "former colleagues offering services"—bc sex work is their only option

Honestly, kids today are so f*cked. Imagine someone reading your CV and it includes Covid lockdowns and uni in the early days of AI. Everyone will just assume you never learned anything.

No. No more existing IPs. I get that the nostalgia machine Disney+ probably tracks quite well how often it is rewatched, but do you know why it worked? Because straight men only got to be affectionate if they also had hot girlfriends. Because 'for the last time Turk: I'm Dominican' was a punchline.
I have trust issues. I was told this was the final season but it won't be for long.
And this isn't even including the fact that season 8 ended with "My Finale" which was the "real ending" of the show to most people.

I don't think we're going to have a successful Amazon boycott till we break their monopoly on indie books.
They have a clever strategy to build their monopoly, which any functional government would have banned: if you want your indie book listed in Kindle Unlimited, you have to be exclusive. 🧵
