When I say to expect me in my silver vehicle, it may well have two wheels!
We're not saying that everyone should ride a bicycle to go everywhere, but it would sure be nice to have it as a safe, viable option when an SUV isn't necessary!

My brother sent me some photos of the residential high-rise fire in Tai Po, Hong Kong. I've always admired the ingenuity and sustainability of using bamboo scaffolding on high-rise buildings, but I've never thought about the fire risk.

Just as well I'm not on a 1m wide cargo bike, or else I'd be forced to stop, push up onto the pavement around that ticket machine, and stick a @yplac.bsky.social @therealyplac.bsky.social sticker on the driver's side window while I was at it.
