Why did the American audience apparently hear different audio of JD Vance's appearance at the Olympics than the audio heard by the rest of the world?

NBC denies muting. But it's part of overall disturbing developments in the US corporate media world.
The world heard JD Vance being booed at the Olympics. Except for viewers in the US | Bryan Armen Graham
The real risk for American broadcasters is not that dissent will be visible. It is that audiences will start assuming anything they do not show is being hidden

Seemed like every commercial that tried to de-age celebs looked like dog crap, or like it was handled last minute with AI.

That and the fact that every other commercial felt like an ad for crypto, AI, or gambling made for a terrible SB commercials year.
How the fuck much did that awful Dunkin commercial cost?

kind of funny there are prob 1,000 major US musicians and every time conservatives need to put up a music artist to counter a mainstream narrative, they put up kid rock. "ok here's kid rock again" for the next 30 years, an octogenarian man in jean shorts rapping something from the 1990s

So, given Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt blindly and instantly defended the Obamas/apes post this morning, which has now been repudiated by the White House, attacked by top GOP Senators, blamed on a staffer, acknowledged by Trump, and since deleted, shouldn’t Leavitt quit?

With all the stupidity in the world, the virtual inability for the average person to use critical thinking, and a massive distrust in legacy media, releasing AI into society where anybody can make convincing fake videos with zero skill or effort is going to be disastrous.
The new fake video of Alex Pretti that is being used to discredit his memory is an AI fake made by @mazemoor (on X).

He even admitted it.

It has been debunked by many sources.

The video is a very good fake, but it’s fake....

I slow-motioned the mistake for you.

Trump supporters are just political Disney Adults.

They’ll consume anything he throws out, no matter if it’s true, no matter the quality, and even if it financially ruins them.

I’d enjoy this constant back and forth of the Trump admin defending Trump only for him to blow it all up in a random comment a day later if there were consequences for such or if hypocrisy still mattered.

WH literally just said yesterday that no president was more pro 2A than Trump lol
"You can't have guns. You can't walk in with guns," the president told PBS News, reiterating a talking point from the administration that Alex Pretti should not have brought a legally carried handgun to the scene — a position that has infuriated gun rights advocates. https://to.pbs.org/49KNSNE

A reminder to the news media: “conflicting accounts” is what you say BEFORE the incontrovertible video evidence appears. After that, your job is to ask why one side is lying, not to repeat the lie and pretend no one knows the truth.

Right wingers supported the prosecution of an FBI agent for a mistaken shooting that occured during a standoff with violent gun nuts who had violated the law AND shot a law enforcement officer. Trumpers now claim that a lawful gun owner deserved to be executed by ICE.

Where is our national press? The government has been shooting at and harassing clergy for months. This used to be a red line. The reality is their red line moved, not yours. They’re cowards.
ICE attacked an observer after they tailed a group of clergy on a spiritual pilgrimage.

Our digital producer @sam.vp just so happened to be with the clergy on their journey. He spoke with the observer who was attacked and others who witnessed the assault.
