Shocking what these girls and women went through.
English is so expressive in so many ways, we talked to a gentleman today he tried speaking English but we couldn't understand him, he then asked in German no problem we did explain where his mistakes were and had a laugh together.
Online & AI translators would be perfect if languages had only literal meanings. But every language & culture has layers of meanings in wording & intonation that no machine can understand like a human mind. Learning a language hands you a colourful key to people & culture.

Someone has sure already made this observation but the fact they can convert all those empty warehouses into prison camps means they could have converted them into housing, community centers, job training centers or, hell, libraries or schools all along. It’s always a matter of will not resources.
