Watched The Polar Express (2004) last night. I know haters call any Hollywood movie "soulless" but the film is just so empty to me, it looks ahead to AI Coca-Cola commercials. There's nothing that suggests a real human with a personality or ideas is behind any of this. Pure kitsch

i truly hate to ask but because of my seizure on Monday, i’ve had to take some time off of work and so has my wife to take care of me, and so we have had to sacrifice a big chunk of our paycheck for that

Watched It's a Wonderful Life (1946) again, it gets better every time I see it. There's just so much life in every shot and Jimmy Stewart gives a fucking god-tier performance. If you haven't seen it fully and think you have because of cartoon parodies, go see the real thing!
