Watched The Polar Express (2004) last night. I know haters call any Hollywood movie "soulless" but the film is just so empty to me, it looks ahead to AI Coca-Cola commercials. There's nothing that suggests a real human with a personality or ideas is behind any of this. Pure kitsch

I appreciated that the plot's more of a straightforward adventure story and I think it handles the whole "species racism" thing way more appropriately than the first film, I just had more fun with it

Watched It's a Wonderful Life (1946) again, it gets better every time I see it. There's just so much life in every shot and Jimmy Stewart gives a fucking god-tier performance. If you haven't seen it fully and think you have because of cartoon parodies, go see the real thing!

Honestly I'm finding it more satisfying to just chat with friends directly. Posting is fun, but the timeline is just not the best substitute for socializing
