The film is November (2017). If you like old folk magic and werewolves and shit this movie will be way up your alley. I want Robert Eggers's films to be more like this, has his talent for putting you in another time and place but has a humanity his stuff lacks imo

Watched You Can Count on Me (2000) a couple nights ago and I'm still thinking warm feelings about it. One of those rare movies where the characters just feel so real and despite their flaws the movie's love for them is really touching. Very sad and funny movie as well, I really recommend this one

Half way thru Darker Than You Think. I know lycanthropy is an age old concept but the way it's written in this sf/f/horror/noir novel kinda feels like a proto-furry wrote it. Been enjoying it a lot!
