Beloved: I don't understand how we're going to clean this without putting it in the dishwasher
Myself: With very hot water and dish soap.
Beloved: LIKE CAVE PEOPLE.
Today I learned kidney failure, liver problems, and menopause can all cause tinnitus! I am so blessed.

🚀🕳️ James Webb just confirmed the first runaway supermassive black hole—ripping through space at 2.2 million mph after getting kicked out of its galaxy. It’s streaking through the “Cosmic Owl” galaxies with a glowing gas trail behind it. A black hole on the run.

In my excitement at finally seeing these Tibetan Snowcocks, I took neither a good photo nor a video! This was up at 17,000 ft with Gokyo Lake below and Everest somewhere in the background!

To be wise
Find your heart
Open up both your eyes
We can all know everything
Without ever knowing why

Just a friendly reminder you can mute words and hashtags anywhere from 24 hours to forever. (Also, Bluesky doesn't seem to have a limit on the number of words and hashtags you can mute).

Yule ≠ Christmas

Yule is one of the oldest winter solstice festivals, with origins among the ancient Norse thousands of years ago.

Although today it’s heavily associated with, and even confused with, Christmas, the celebration existed long before Christianity. 🧵⬇️

Made tuna, mushroom, and sweetcorn pizzas using the Pillsbury mini crusts from a tube and, meh, should have stuck with my usual pizza crust.

I thought I would try something different! Mini pizzas are cute! And they were on sale!

Repurposed one of those metal craft carts that were popular on BookTok a few years ago to hold my bowl-lift stand mixer and it's the perfect set up for me ... just roll the cart up to an outlet, use the mixer, and then roll it back to its corner. Minimal fuss, no loss of counter space.

After the brownies are done, I'll bake a batch of dried tart cherry, dark choc, and chopped almond drop cookies. Sugar cookie mix as a base to make it extra easy.

As far as Christmas choc goes, Läderach's praliné stars are a bit disappointing, but the hazelnut FrischSchoggi is an absolute smash, as always.
