Can’t credit the author of this because I don’t know who. But very good little infographic. Worth sharing far and wide.

Real democracy means sharing power.

Citizens’ Assemblies bring people together to tackle big, strategic decisions—and require leaders to listen and respond. That’s how trust is built.

Speaking at our event, Jack Watts from the NFU says the UK spends 0.2% of GDP on agriculture support (lower in England). This compares to 0.6% across Europe, and 1% across OECD economies.

UK agriculture is not the heavily subsided sector that many people assume, especially compared to our peers.

There has to be an investigation into the many individuals who committed heinous crimes alongside Epstein.

There should be a special prosecutor, or a congressional investigation, that looks into the crimes and the ongoing cover-up. It has to happen.

Positive vibes
I'm off to Brussels to mainly talk EU trade policy but there may be a bit of UK EU in there - not least the disconnect between positive vibes and negotiations that aren't completely on track as far as I can tell. Never mind customs union talk.

1. Interesting to see Reform abandon its flirtation with nativism / birth rate boosterism in favour of the policy of the last Tory government

2. “Starve a kid for a cheaper pint” is quite the policy. Be interested to see how that performed in focus groups (especially all male versus mixed).

Please could you post the link to the report.
Needs to be better understood what ‘grow less or different food’ means when our food security is at risk. Different food may mean significant changes in diet which people will find difficult.
The costs of changes should be borne by the state not farmers
How do we need to decarbonise our farming sector?

Primarily by using land differently, though different farming techniques will also play a role.

Let's talk about how disastrous Brexit has been.

Let's talk about why Gorton & Denton must vote Green & stop Reform.

Why so quiet, Nigel Farage?

Excellent thread here.

I live in a small town, effectively a 15 minute neighbourhood.

Shops, pubs, restaurants, churches, doctors, sports centre, dentists, junior school, nursery & secondary school, even a brewery all about a 15 minute walk from where I live.
Almost no need for a car.

It's great.
Ok, let’s do this🙄

We’ll start with an explainer covering:

🕒What is a 15-minute city
🏫What on Earth is going on with Oxford
👽Where the conspiracy theories have come from

And then we’ll look at the Telegraph article
