Active days behind me now I create in a limited way At first this distressed me but now I work mainly with crayons on A5 or 4 paper (still write)
Chancing the occasional large painting when the mood takes me so I’ve found a way forward
I love seeing others who achieve the same when fortunes change

November ~ John Clare

‘The landscape sleeps in mist from morn till noon;
And, if the sun looks through, 'tis with a face
Beamless and pale and round, as if the moon,
When done the journey of her nightly race,
Had found him sleeping, and supplied his place.’

I thought I'd show you my handprinted limited edition cushions that are now in my online shop. The design derives fromm original linocut print 'By the Bridge'. I have silkscreen printed the fabric and sewn the cushions with matching piping myself.

Happy World Walrus Day! The English word walrus probably comes from Dutch and means “whale horse.” The Albanian name for a walrus, lopë deti, means “sea cow.” And the Navajo word for a walrus is tábąąstííntsoh bideeʼ hólónígíí. It means “big otter that lies on the shore, with tusks”

New #Linocut Reduction #Letterpress print. Foothills of the Rocky Mountains are a very special place in autumn. As you walk through the fields in the rural countryside, the breeze inevitably picks up and the leaves weave an intricate dance.
