My wood fired pizza (with a bite taken out) from last night. Best pizza I've ever had and I think we can get it even better!

The base was so good. I made the dough and Alice put the pizzas together.

Made two test screens this evening.

My conclusion is that the new dual cure emulsions need a lot longer drying and I simply don't have the space for a drying rack.

But hopefully I can successfully make screens this weekend!

I have finished mixing the inks for the proof. I colour sampled them and plugged them back into the illustration in Photoshop to check how close they are.

These may look very vibrant but they are toned down a lot by the transparent greys.

I have started to mix inks for my Haven print. I know it doesn't look like it here, but in reality the colours are not vibrant enough. Anyway at least it's a start.

This should cover me for printing the British coastal birds and my next two prints.

Hi, I'm Mara! A queer artist with AuDHD and a constant headache (among other things) and with that a lot of exhaustion.

I do a lot of different art.
Currently I'm mainly focusing on rubber stamps. But I also do lino printing and love painting picture frames for art. And I love a good side project.
A DIN A4 piece of paper with a lot of different stamped illustrations. A seahorse, a goose, a church with the text "Post aus Mainz", a pigeon holding a letter with the text "für dich", a mouse with a letter, a fast snail holding a letter, a whale, a pillow with the text "Kissenstempel", a fish, several butterflies, tomatoes, stars and flowers, apples and an apple tree. Some seal stamps (as in wax seals but stamps), one of them a heart, one a fish, one leaves and a flower and one my artist sign. a photo of a framed lino print. The print is red and shows a package of passata. The frame is dark and square. Is has small tomatoes all over it. The mat or passepartout is white with prints of red tomatoes with green tomatoe greens. A blue lino print on white paper showing a negative printed fish and the text eat the rich in caps. The fish is vertical and has different textures. It has a white head with a big round eye and a small mouth. The fins all have fine lines on them, the backfin ones are very parallel, the other ones a bit more organic looking. It has scales on its body except for the belly. The belly is striped in the direction of the fish. The print is titled "Eat the fish", it's also numbers "#1" and signed by me. The print lays on background with an illustrated flower pattern.
