Here is a piece I wrote about banned books.

Featuring none of my favourite people - Joey Barton, Rishi Sunak, Bro-normative and his best female-coded-services gal

And some of my favourite things - libraries, dangerous ideas, unthinkable kinks, spanking flamboyance

Here is the Subpop single of Crystalator. I loved playing this live. One occasionally bent note. A kid who was a fan of the hot pot chilli dippers once told me it was indulgent to have a bass line of only one note. Wunderbar.

Review of a film about my friend Shayne, with a link to the first Subpop-released Dimmer single, when I was bass player, and did the cover art. Great film, but Shayne's book is even better.

One very poor phone snap of the full moon.
One quite nice phone snap of moonlight in the church yard.
An enjoyable walk in the dark after a day stuck inside working.

I made a poor choice.
Instead of eating pie and watching a detective drama in my dressing gown, I carried on working and listened to the football. #LEECHE

I really hate lots of ‘acting’ in audiobook narration. It’s a book, not a film or a play. Being read to well is so very adequate. Realistic tears, swamping fear, great gouts of accents all spoil it. I don’t read to myself like that. Stop it.

There's an advert on his website for a 'Depot Supervisor' that pays £12.75 an hour for shift work.
If he wants to reduce welfare spending maybe he should pay staff enough that they don't need in-work benefits.

That voice, good grief. Will never forget when he was on Buzzcocks and reduced Phil Jupitus to tears with one quick blast of his voice.

My latest crop of bell people for sale. I really like the grumpy one with the cow - I think her job must be seeing off bad vibes and protecting against milk souring. £49 each - can be customised for a little more

Just had an email from Bandcamp about this ‘new release’ which is actually a very old release - I know because I’m playing bass and did the cover artwork.
