Honestly, it is possible to think 'I work hard to earn money; I deserve that money' and *also* 'it would be good if we created a more equal society: I'll help'. Exhausting to see everything presented as a fight to the death between those two ideas, seemingly forever.

I go away for a winter break tomorrow. I have never been less prepared. Not packed, not organised phone cover, not got currency. I may just stay under the bedcovers til Tuesday & get pizza delivered.

Shabby-vanti running 15 mins late so have missed my connection. Adding another hour to the home journey. And none of the charging points work. Yet for this I’ve paid over £100 for a return journey that’s delayed me an hour both ways.
