6 days after we moved house. The new home has 8 rooms. 7 of them still have removal boxes, 2 of them still completely full of them.
Moving house is exhausting.
(Still haven’t found the box with the bathroom things in. Living out of our travelling toilet bags.)

So, we moved into our new home yesterday. Already been welcomed by four neighbours (and their dogs), the postman and the local window cleaner. Feels like a real community. Shattered after a week of preparing for and then moving, but all worth it for this view from our new sitting room.

So, can we expect prosecutions for Johnson, Cummings and Wormold for their “inexcusable” failings during the Covid outbreak?
Of course not.
They should all three be brought to book for their actions, or lack of them.

Last week of living in our home of 30 years. Lots of empty space as we have gotten rid of some furniture. Doesn’t really feel like home anymore. Looking forward to moving though. This home has fulfilled its purpose and now it’s time for a change.

When we told family and friends that we were moving 200 miles to the end of a Cornish lane at our time of life (late 60’s) quite a few said we were mad. Have just spent a couple more days in the area prior to moving we’re even more convinced it is the right thing to do. Don’t give up on your dreams.
