On this day in 1914, Joe Shuster was born in Toronto. He co-created Superman with Jerry Siegel. He put some Canadiana into the character. The Daily Planet was modelled on The Toronto Star and Metropolis was based on Toronto. His cousin was Frank Shuster from Wayne and Shuster.

I asked ChatGPT to brief "Trust Me v. Bro," a nonexistent case I used in response to a claim that items/information publicly released by the media is inadmissible at trial for some reason, and of course GPT was quick with the full cite and (glorious) synopsis: Trust Me v. Bro, 999 U.S. 867 (2024).

I normally ignore celebrity news but holy hell this NYT piece is surreal. People literally sending texts like ‘thank God we are creating no electronic trail of our evil, because wow that would be bad for us tee hee! Now let us discuss the evil details of our plan further’
