Back when I worked in employment policy, it was considered bipartisan (read: neoliberal) to want to get as many people working as possible, because that would theoretically mean less welfare and less poverty. But these fascists want women and Black people and especially Black women impoverished.
Black women are down 297,000, but men’s gains have surged to +621,000. That’s a 324,000 widening of the gender gap in two months—a 34% jump. Since February, the swing between black women’s losses and men’s gains approaches 1 million jobs.

What’s really interesting about this story is how long it took to fully surface even as every player involved made the worst decision they could at every turn (except, somehow, for Mark Sanford choosing to cut things off immediately)
yeah I know the felching bit stood out for a lot of people but my jaw dropped at "sat on prior knowledge of a catch-and-kill scheme on behalf of a guy whose now measlesmaxxing the U.S. population"
something i'll note is that if nuzzi ran catch-and-kill ops for rfk jr and lizza knew this prior to him being appointed as HHS, and instead of telling anyone, he decided to save it for his substack long after rfk jr had made communicable disease into federal policy, that's completely fucked
