Oh nice, Apple now has a 60 min delay before you can change the password you forgot. So together with the brokenness with this whole process, it'll mean you will never change your password.

Works! And since this is data driven, it's possible to build a second imgui style system that generates the same data for the gui system. You could easily combine the two at runtime. The lowest levels could even be C code & be portable

<warning: highly technical C++ stuff>
So I'm thinking about a nice API for my GUI stuff
And there are a couple of ways I could go
I like IMGUI style because it's easy to build anything
But I also want to be able to cache stuff, or maybe even pre-declare parts of the GUI

suddenly I'm imagining a crazy multiplayer game where you see the world from another player's perspective, but you still only control yourself
so you need to look at each other to be able to see what you're doing

Macron remarks are notable- some quotes: "We have been incredibly naive in entrusting our democratic space to social networks that are controlled either by large American entrepreneurs or large Chinese companies, whose interests are not at all the survival or proper functioning of our democracies."
President Macron: “Europeans, let's wake up!
We have been incredibly naive in entrusting our democratic space to social networks.”

nationalism is a disease. being proud of your country is ok. but thinking your country is better simply because its your country rots your brain

Glad to be announcing a new game, and happy that it is something experimental and weird: a tiny, tense, turn-based strategy game about merging units into spectacular combinations, and then watching them evaporate thousands of bugs.

So .. oil kind of exists because the microbes that would've decomposed plants didn't exist back then. so plant remains just .. I guess, kind of got buried over time. So it took time for microbes to figure out how to digest plant remains.
Now, humanity kind of spread plastic, literally, everywhere ..

It's kind of weird reading about discussions online where people from the US think people in Europe generally don't have air conditioning because we're 'poor', but simply don't seem to understand that europeans build houses differently & don't need air conditioning as much
