This bit from @jeffberg1.bsky.social summed it up for me today. Growing up as a queer kid with gay parents, I rarely got to see our stories in any media. Not to mention, the queer people we lost along the way who never got to finish their own stories. This game gave our stories light. Thank you 💖

A few weeks ago while I was on leave I finally finished my making my candlehop. As soon as I saw these little guys in Veilguard I was obsessed. There’s a few tiny details I’d change if I made another but overall I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.

I wanted to do something for #DragonAgeDay No time to draw & sharing writing is still scary but I did manage to sing.
I had some fun with The Dawn Will Come, playing around a little bit with different vocal placements & other things I've learnt. Messed up the rythm a bit in the chorus but oh well 😆

A lot of my Queer Joy recently has stemmed from Taash and Rivtaash. To the point that I inserted my oc x canon pairing into an original (queer) story idea i outlined years ago with a touch of an old poem I like.

One of the reasons I think it’s so important to continue telling queer stories in writing and art is because we lost almost an entire generation of queer people to the AIDS crisis. There’s some people I’m missing extra today, and I am trying to honor them in small and big ways when I can.

Guy Ingellvar is interested in magic, but he’s had negative experiences with mages. As a rogue, he was sent on many missions within vast corners of the Necropolis. He specializes in lock picking, ancient puzzles, and dual daggers. Despite his skills, mages always took the lead on expeditions.

Acrylic ink stays wet for a bit so even with the pointillism, I have to work in layers to reduce bleeding. Still, I kinda like when it bleeds a bit and usually leave it if I get a drip or two.
