If a sizeable number of people in Britain believe immigration harms the country the government’s job is to reeducate them not to use their prejudices as the policy making springboard. It’s a Labour government founded on the principles of socialism, compassion and solidarity not expedient cruelty

Trump is a failure as a human being in all ways and on all levels. His guest here is in the same league. Both are mass murdering autocrats
He’s have an inconvenient journalist chopped up with a bone saw in a nanosecond if he could.
Just like the gurning psychopath sitting next to him did.
Q: Why wait for Congress to release the Epstein files? Why not just do it now?

TRUMP: It's not the question that I mind. It's your attitude. I think you're a terrible reporter. It's the way you ask these questions. You start off with a man who's highly respected asking him an insubordinate question

The man responsible for killing Jamal Kashoggi should never be welcome anywhere in the world, let alone in the Oval Office of the White House

Homan: "I plan on being in New York City in the near future. We're gonna do operations in New York City. Me and Mayor Adams at one point had an agreement to let ICE in to Rikers ... we are increasing the enforcement presence in New York City."

NEW: When Andrew Tate landed in the US, Customs & Border Protection seized his electronic devices. But @propublica.org found that a White House official told DHS to return the devices, emphasizing that the request came from the White House.

Mahmood lives in a fantasy land where she says the same things as far right racist bigots and invitees of hatred against refugees and believes her words are different because she said them
Asked about Tommy Robinson supporting her asylum plans Shabana Mahmood replies that "Tommy Robinson doesn't even think I'm actually English, so he will certainly not be supporting anything I've got to say."

But he is supporting what she's got to say. That was the point of the question

Zack on the attack is something to behold. Well said, clearly and with just the right amount of anger
“They went for pensioners, they went for the disabled, and now they’re going for people fleeing war and conflict. I am furious — this government should hang their heads in shame.”

Zack Polanski on Labour’s new immigration reforms on Newsnight.

Kristi Noem is mad that protesters are blowing whistles at ICE agents.

Zack Polanski sounds furious and rightly so. The government approach to immigration is wrong from start to finish. Hostility led by politicians and amplified by the media is what is dividing the country. Polanski offers a different solution, work with asylum seekers, allow them to contribute.
"Polanski was joined by many Labour MPs in opposing the government’s plans, although most of them are thought to be prepared to reluctantly support the measures."

What's the point of being in Labour?

Zack Polanski: "This is extreme, this is inhumane and it is a government of cowards."

The risk of drowning in freezing water doesn’t act as a deterrent to coming to Britain in a small boat. Nor does the tens of thousands of euros it costs to secure a passage on an overloaded rubber dinghy. Nothing Mahmood suggests is a deterrent in comparison? Open safe legal routes instead.
Cruelty does nothing to secure our borders.

It's good that the Home Secretary has definitively ruled out confiscating jewellery from refugees - but our focus must now be on building a fair asylum system that prioritises safe and legal routes, not more Tory-style ineffective cruelty.

Why are these council workers not given a police escort. One Bobby would have been able to prevent this abuse of public servants doing their job. It’s a heath and safety issue.
Laurence Fox posted this video of his followers hurling racist abuse and threatening council workers removing flags from over busy roads because they are a crash hazard.

Your family was lucky then Shabana Mahmood. How tin eared can you be, how much hypocrisy is possible? In my religion my teacher says ‘if you do this for the least of my brethren, you do it for me’. Nothing less is acceptable, is it?

Zia Yusuf declares "That's irrelevant." When told his parents were economic migrants and asked why he wants it banned?

But actually it's very relevant.
