Favorite Doctor + favorite Doctor Who Quote.🎨

I adored Jodie Whittaker's portrayal of the Doctor. The bright color palette, creative whimsy, the social awkwardness, caring deeply for her companions despite not always being able to express it. Y'all, I felt seen with this one. 🥹💚

No students showed up for my afterschool art class today, so we're making the most of it with this pollinating Halictid. 🎨

I have an acute aversion to the color orange (especially living in the US right now 🫠) but the underpainting method has been helping brighten midtones/improve realism.

The fruits of accomplishment are temporary and contingent on effort, but hope is eternal and costs nothing. Biology favors easy solutions. Your brain wants to be in a perpetual state of hope, so the satisfaction of accomplishment can never last too long. You have to keep moving at all costs.
