I keep seeing folks say they'll just accept a Teen Friendly account on Discord rather than scan or ID and I don't know if I wanna mass normalize leaving NSFW pals out in the cold yet again. Especially with all the censorship stuff goin on I think we gotta stand with the freaks now more than ever.

You guys know how the owners of Anime Matsuri also own a bar called The Anime Bar outside of Houston? Seems they run that bar much like they run their conventions, because after a patron talked to the cops about how a friend's drink may have been drugged, an employee banned her from returning.

Word to the wise: DO NOT TELL A BLACK ARTIST WHAT THEY CAN'T DRAW. I just had to block some idiot for saying I shouldn't draw white gloves on Casey, because white gloves were part of blackface. I knew all about the history, but to say that I need to stop using them is both rude and offensive.

heads up that bluesky doesnt show posts from other languages by default on your timeline, and its cutting you off from a lot of the community
go to bsky.app/settings/lan... and deselect any language from this setting, or else you might not see any of the new japanese users at all!
