The Winter of Discontent. Couldn’t avoid noticing sitting in candlelight tbh. My mum n dad’s work was torched during the fire fighters strike and I remember going down with my dad the next day seeing the army damping down with those Green Goddess fire engines.

Found a copy of this Q mag from July 1990 in a vintage shop last year. I had a copy at the time and stuck all the Roses photos on my bedroom wall. Was also the first interview of them that I read. I was a bit late to them, think I bought She Bangs The Drums at the start of that year.
