Not Canadian.

New social media, same old personality.

An expert in some things. A colossal idiot in most others.
This piece is as appallingly framed as every says. Kennedy is the end product of using the legal system to define scientific reality. Kennedy is an ambulance chasing lawyer and quack. Somebody who knows how to use the power of the courts rather than experimentation to insist science is wrong.
Over many interviews, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. told Michael Scherer about how he plans to remake America’s public-health system. Can he lead the scientific establishment he’s spent much of his life crusading against?

This is the jockeying for position for when He gets incapacitated, isn't it?
FWIW, RUMINT, but pretty reliable:

1. Vance key to US embrace of Russia plan on Ukraine, Rubio (and even Trump) out of the loop.

2. Vance-Rubio relations “awful.”

3. Rubio told the senators exactly what they said he told them.

4. Hegseth paranoid he’ll be shoved out, Driscoll will replace him.

Any Urdu readers out there who can tell me the source document of the prose in these illustrations?

Can he make your boobs bigger? Yes!
"You can agree or disagree with him, but Polanski does not pretend to be something he is not.

He is unusually willing for a politician to give a straight answer to questions.

Does he want to rejoin the EU? “Yes."

The Green Party in Scotland, however, was part of a government that did nothing about those issues when it had the power to act.
Migrants didn't cut council funding.
Migrants didn't raise energy bills.
Migrants didn't close community centres.

Know what would help solve Scotland’s problems? Taxing the super-rich and building an affordable country for all.

Well this came at a fortuitous time as I bought 2kg of mussels today.
Mussels cooked in wine are always lovely, that’s true, but I implore you to try cooking them in beer: its light bitterness is the perfect foil to their rich sweet flesh. And this is why my Dutch Mussels are #RecipeOfTheDay! www.nigella.com/recipes/dutc...
Dutch Mussels
The Dutch do love their mussels, honoured there as zwarte goud — black gold — although it’s true that their neighbours the Belgians unfairly get more credit for them. Of course, you don’t need to make...

An opinion that I hold that goes ever stronger is that we need more paternalism in society. People need to be told what is good for them, not guided and offered choices. Told. Take the debate out the public realm. You will have your vaccine. You will use a midwife. You will listen to your doctor.

I would have thought the Telegraph was far too unhinged for the Mail. The Mail is despicable in many ways, but it doesn't have a default editorial position of conspiracy theorising.

Even if Ukraine accept this deal Putin is going to invade a European country and definitely invade Ukraine, and the USA will continue to betray its allies.

So the thing about the lab leak is we have enough data to very much put it at the lower end of the probability scale and anybody in authority arguing otherwise is either misinformed, ignorant or mendacious.
Michael Gove claiming Covid was a lab leak on the today programme without one word of pushback.

So Trump will allow Putin to destroy Ukraine just to distract people from his relationship with Epstein?

I was in Barcelona recently, a city not without problems with inequality, but the streets were clean, indeed they are washed daily, the pavements are in good condition and cafes and restaurants were generally better quality than the UK, and cheaper than the UK. I know Barcelona is rich, but still.

This is racist logic. Society is racist because there are too many minorities.
Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood made more explicit her argument that when ethnic minorities face racism, "we have no choice but to ask: what is the cause of our division"

Her answer is the level of net migration, 2019-23 causes racism. (She on Monday said it was caused by the scale of asylum)

In many respects this is insane because they haven't actually done anything remotely comparable to Johnson or Truss.
No matter which way you cut it, this has become a very unpopular government - now at Johnson on resignation day and Corbyn in mid-2019 levels of dislike, including among their own voters.

Only Truss-tier is yet to be reached, though with Reeves already at Kwarteng levels, it's not out of sight.
Keir Starmer's net favourability rating falls to its lowest level to date (-54, 16-17 November), within the margin of error of Jeremy Corbyn (-55) and Boris Johnson's (-53) lowest ratings

Favourable: 19% (-2 from 13-14 Oct)
Unfavourable: 73% (+1)
Net: -54 (-3)

What the sector needs is, in this order, higher pay, guaranteed pay progression, fewer working hours,l and permanent contracts.

Part of my job is laughing at the ludicrous ad hoc definitions for things scientists come up with for some poor sap to spend a significant portion of time and energy fixing. Another part of my job is to be that poor sap.

Anyway it's -2 outside, some idiot turned off the underfloor heating in the kitchen, we have no central heating and we've been badly let down by a heat pump installer. Oh and the roof is coming off next week. Going to be a cold few weeks...

Once this weaponised lying spreads to the FDA, the pharmaceutical industry is going to be so fucked in the USA. The collapse of evidence based regulatory processes benefits no one.
CDC has overhauled its website to assert that “the claim ‘vaccines do not cause autism’ is not an evidence-based claim”
