Not Canadian.

New social media, same old personality.

An expert in some things. A colossal idiot in most others.
Now that's going to cost you a good half million per year in heating.

I'm old enough to remember the days when arsey bloggers could tear a Green policy on the environment or science to shreds so there'd be at least some debate over policy, but your average political journalist seems to lack fundamental knowledge across the board so cannot do this for any policy.

This is going to be like Reform all over again. The political media largely incapable of interrogating a bunch of cranks over their mad policies because their leaders/spokespeople are charismatic and good on tv/radio.

Oh, power is run through officials though. They'll pursue their agendas and he can't control everybody all of the time. He doesn't represent a faction who could do his enforcing.

The illustrations have been painted over existing text, suspect the text is entirely unconnected to the pictures. Picked up in a government run boutique in Bangalore. The other half can understand spoken Urdu (via Hindi) but can't read Arabic script.

All I can tell you is that it had a man in a leather jacket who jumped a shark, and something about Robin Williams. The Weezer theme tune I know though.

The conventionally green policy that got through was the bottle recycling which immediately collapsed due to a lack of planning and realism.

Awful, but not without ability. He could get policy done. Just, well, he would have been advised to not blow everything up for that particular policy.

Quite the opposite. Advice from regulated specialists who operate under the threat of sanction if they don't follow the rules of using evidence.

'spoke and nodded' is doing some very heavy lifting as an argument for acquiescence. Scientific advisors advise, they don't instruct, it was the politicians who made policy.
