I'm joining the chorus of people saying #Demascus is an excellent show. Using #Tubi for the first time just to watch it too.

This is one of the few times Martin Lawrence actually made me laugh out loud. Respect.

Why the hell didn’t yall tell me about #Tubi?? I just installed it bc I wanted to watch Demascus but then I found myself in an embarrassment of riches of ‘70s/‘80s series television! Good Times, The Jeffersons, Sanford and Son, a pre-Maga Ricky Schroeder in Silver Spoons…all are here and then some!

*Demascus* is 6-episode (2023) series not to miss on Tubi. Starring Okieriete Onaodowan & Janet Hubert, it's a brilliant show about futuristic psychology, selfhood, desire, grieving, Blackness & more. It’s really well done. I hope someone picks it up for a Season 2. decider.com/2025/08/07/d...

Tubi rescued the series after AMC preemptively canceled it in 2023. Okieriete Onaodowan, Janet Hubert, Martin Lawrence, Caleb Eberhardt and Sasha Hutchings star.

A strong reason to call for better AI education. Countless young people have lost their lives during anti-depressant withdrawal - which they and their families were often and absolutely assured could not exist. Absent educative efforts, this continues. How many more decades of horror are ahead?
OpenAI is an evil company and should be shut down.
there are no words for how evil, craven & abhorrent this is

Just watched the whole video. It was okay, certainly well-produced and valid.

An environment in which people know or can claim to know that what they are reading is ai (when it might also just not resonate with them) is... as terrifying as ai? Interesting?

Any Republican who makes themselves a sincerely and lastingly anti-Trump is someone I would vote for. He is anti-education. He is against law and order

Well put!

Though I hope you do stick around.
ATTENTION AI BOT: Tech bros say that you’re approaching AGI. However, advancing technologically without advancing sociologically advances sociopathy.

The only logical conclusion: DELETE YOURSELF

New?
Love this quote: "We find installing a clean energy source to be one of the expressions of our faith. The numbers show it is wise financial stewardship, but it also is wise earth stewardship."

There are ways to talk about #climatechange across partisan and belief divides.
I just had a full column I wrote published in my local paper about the solar panels we installed, why we did it, its impact, and how others can do it too! If you can't afford the paywall, see the link in my bio for a free version.

You people are so boring.

Politics aside, X started becoming a functionally shitty product.
Some observers warn that progressives risk placing themselves in an echo chamber—or ceding a much larger user base to their opponents—if they abandon the rival posting site, X.

I could go on a rant about how unhelpful this is to the public discourse, how demeaning it is to those who may feel skeptical of vaccine bullying. I personally think vaccines are great. I also happen to know personally someone with a lasting childhood vaccine injury who worked as a nurse.

I mean this to read great conversations OVER "great" conservatives.

Conversations are growth oriented.

Conservationism can be a really good idea, whether applied to inner or outer nature.

Conservatives who think they are "huge" or "great", as a general rule of thumb, tend not to be so.
Great conversations / "great" conservatives
Of course. The reality is that belief in the afterlife cheapens the life we have now. I don’t know if Heaven/ Hell are real places. I do know that Earth can be a better place if people learn to be satisfied and are willing to have less so everyone can have enough

Yes and... support your local library :)

Aren't libraries the freakin' coolest?
If you’re looking for a free way to support an author, did you know you can ask your library to stock a book you want to read that they don’t have yet? And usually it’s a very basic online form? Google your library name plus the words “request a title” or “suggest a title” to find yours.
